PIONERPRODUKT.by continues to publish a series of videos from AgroExpedition in the Volgograd region. In this video, we continue to get acquainted with Donskoye JV LLC, talk about the diet for cattle and see the dairy farm.
Feed for cattle on the farm is prepared from corn silage, hay and concentrated feed.
The cows are in the room without walking, while they are not tied to the stall and can move freely around the corral.
Each housing has a feed pusher robot that independently runs along the feed table every hour and a half and pushes the feed scattered by the cows.
The feeding table is made of PVC coating, which prevents injury to the tongue of the cows. The service life of the coating is about 25 years. By the way, the coating is domestic, developed at VolgGTU, for which the university was awarded a state prize.
Each housing, divided into sections, contains about 650 heads. Each section has 4 heated drinkers. Water passes through the heaters and runs in a circle between the drinkers, after which it is again supplied to the heater.
On the farm, milking is three times a day, which lasts approximately 4.5 hours.
The room is equipped with the latest technology: there are light panels that save electricity, as well as an automatic ventilation system. Separately, I would like to note cows' combs - in a dairy farm, cows should be happy, then they will have good MILK and in large volumes.
Sections with young animals are equipped with “headlocks”, which allow you to fix the animal and perform the necessary veterinary manipulations.
All sections for cows are equipped with mats of domestic production, which suit the management of the farm in terms of price / quality ratio, as well as in terms of their physical qualities.
After being removed from the barn, manure enters special lagoons, where it rots for a year, and then is taken to the fields as organic fertilizer.
