
 The traditional Siberian-Far Eastern exhibition of breeding sheep and goats will be held in Chita from June 2 to 5, said the Minister of Agriculture of Transbaikalia Denis Bochkarev. 
 “The main events of the 18th exhibition will unfold on the territory adjacent to the Megapolis Sport complex. it will host the opening and closing of a traditional exhibition, a scientific and practical conference, a shearer show, and a master class on classifying wool. Within four days, residents and guests of the city will be able to visit all sites daily. Equestrian competitions and a fair of agricultural products will be held on Saturday at the Chita state stable," the HEAD of the regional Ministry of Agriculture explained.
 Three farms from Buryatia, five from Tuva, one from Primorye and eleven from the Trans-Baikal Territory will take part in the Siberian-Far Eastern exhibition. In total, more than 150 breeding animals will be presented. Delegations from eight constituent entities of the Russian Federation and guests from Mongolia will also be guests of the event. 
 The winners will be named by an expert commission, which will evaluate the breeding qualities of the animals. The best farms, breed champions among sires, replacement rams, ewes and ewes will be determined. The main prizes - UAZ and Niva cars were established by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture and the Governor of the Trans-Baikal Territory.
 Also during the exhibition, a scientific and practical conference will be held dedicated to the production and economic potential of sheep and goat breeding in modern conditions, traditions and innovations in sheep breeding in the regions of Siberia and the Far East. The forum participants will be leading scientists of the country, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA and the National Union of Sheep Breeders.
