Agricultural producers of Kuzbass can provide the region with basic products

Food production in Kuzbass has been established - there are enterprises for the production of bread, dairy products, eggs, MEAT, vegetables, drinks, confectionery, fish. Enterprises of the agro-industrial complex continuously supply products to trade organizations in the region.
“Agriculture and the food industry in the region are actively developing, increasing production volumes. The load of enterprises for the production of socially significant products is now 45-85%. Stocks of raw materials guarantee trouble-free operation. In the event of an increase in demand, producers have all the necessary resources to meet the existing needs, ”comments Andrey Aritkulov, Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of Kuzbass.
According to the results of the 2021 field season in Kuzbass, the grain harvest amounted to 1 million 552 thousand tons in barn weight, which is the highest figure in the last 10 years. The region is fully provided with grain. At the moment, growers are preparing for the new field season.
In 2021, 113.2 thousand tons of livestock and poultry meat were produced, which is 145.2% of the 2020 level. The growth was due to several investment projects: after a comprehensive modernization, the Chistogorsky pig farm was opened. it is planned to reach full capacity this year, this will allow to increase pork production in Kuzbass by 1.5 times; at the Trudarmeyskaya Poultry Farm, three fattening buildings and two buildings for replacement young animals were reconstructed; at the Myskovskaya poultry farm, after repairs, a building for keeping poultry for 30 thousand heads was put into operation; A workshop for growing Peking duck was launched at Kuzbass Broiler LLC. The planned capacity is 2.8 thousand tons of products per year.
Over the past year, Kuzbass produced 285.7 thousand tons of MILK. The industry is developing through breeding work, the acquisition of livestock with high genetic potential and the introduction of new technologies. Thus, a robotic milking system shop for 280 cows was put into operation at the Vaganovo farm, which will increase the productivity of animals by 15%. The Mikhailovskoye enterprise is building a livestock breeding complex for 1,200 cows. By 2027, it is planned to increase the livestock to 1,750 heads, which will increase milk production by 9,000 tons.
In terms of egg production, Kuzbass is in the top three among the regions of Siberia. In 2021, 1 billion 92 million units were produced (1.8% more than in 2020). There are five poultry farms working in this direction.
In addition, retail chains in the region in a free market enter into contracts for the supply of goods from other subjects of the Russian Federation, which provides buyers with a choice.

Special support measures are in place for producers of basic food products – for example, in 2021, Kuzbass bread and FLOUR producers received 97.9 million rubles of budget funds, due to which they compensated for the rise in prices for raw materials and fixed selling prices for their products. Last year, livestock breeders were reimbursed part of the cost of purchasing feed for dairy cattle, a total of 115.4 million rubles.
