The federal stage of the all-Russian "Best in Profession" competition in the "Agronomist" category has concluded in Mordovia.
Second place went to Evgeny Kuzovatkin from Mordovia, and third to Pavel Teterin from Perm Krai. The winners and runners-up will be awarded cash prizes: 1 million rubles for first place, 500,000 rubles for second place, and 300,000 rubles for third place.
The "Best in Profession" competition is part of the national "Personnel" project and has undergone significant changes this year. The number of nominations has been increased to 20, with the selection of professions based on their medium-term demand.
Agronomist remains a key profession in agriculture, and the industry requires more than 638,000 specialists over the next five years. The "Best in Profession" competition aims to enhance the prestige of blue-collar jobs and stimulate professional growth.
The competition is organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, with the participation of industry agencies, social partners, and regions. The "Agronomist" nomination was supported by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, highlighting the importance of training qualified personnel for the development of the country's agro-industrial complex.
