On March 9, a working meeting was held between the HEAD of the Republic of Mordovia, Artyom Zdunov, and the head of the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza Region, Viktor Kidyaev. The results of the work of the department in 2022 were discussed.
it was noted that the number of preventive measures was two times higher than the number of control ones - this indicates the preventive nature of the work of Rosselkhoznadzor.
The priority direction in the work of the Department is the suppression of the circulation of low-quality, including counterfeit products, as well as the implementation of federal monitoring of the safety of livestock products on the territory of the Republic of Mordovia, including in socially significant institutions.
In 2022, 176 socially significant institutions were inspected, which made it possible to identify 66 violations committed by suppliers and manufacturers of products. The department carried out quarantine phytosanitary supervision of plant products imported into Mordovia not only from other countries, but also from Russian regions.
It was also about carrying out activities to identify unused agricultural land and involve them in agricultural circulation.
In addition, the issue of identifying unauthorized dumps and their elimination, as well as issues of municipal land control was discussed.
Artyom Zdunov instructed to focus the attention of the department on the work of involving new agricultural lands in circulation and attracting federal funding for this - this task was set by the Head of the Republic of Mordovia in the annual Message to the State Assembly of the Republic of Moldova.
Raisa Tsybizova, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, and Alexander Kechaikin, Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Moldova, took part in the discussion of these issues.
