A resident of the Lipetsk SEZ, ARLAN-Machines, will master the production of a new type of product - plastic sleeves for storing grain and oilseeds, which are an alternative to storing agricultural products in elevators. The agreement was signed by the governor of the Lipetsk region Igor Artamonov and the general DIRECTOR of Arlan Machines LLC Armen Nalbandyan.
Investments in the production of a new type of product will amount to 800 million rubles. 40 jobs will be created. it is planned that in the III quarter of 2024 the company will start selling plastic sleeves of its own production.
“Lipetsk agricultural sector is rightfully considered one of the most advanced in the country. We welcome new residents of the region who think the same way as we do, that it is necessary to constantly improve technologies and introduce the most advanced developments into processes. Only in this way will we be able to maintain a leading position in the agricultural market in terms of volume and quality and set an example for other territories on how to work in the agro-industrial complex,” said Igor Artamonov, Governor of the Lipetsk Region.
Arlan Machines became a resident of the Lipetsk SEZ in the middle of last year. On a land plot of 10.3 hectares in 2024, a plant will be built for the production of bunkers-transporters, which are a necessary technological link for harvesting and sowing grain, as well as laying grain for storage in plastic sleeves.
The equipment developed and produced by the company will allow farmers to introduce innovative technologies for sowing, harvesting and storing grain, including wet grain, thereby reducing costs by 30-40%, investments in grain harvesting and sowing equipment - by 25-30%, and in grain storage - 10 times.
