In June 2022, an employee of the FSBI “Federal Center for Animal Health” subordinate to ROSSELKHOZNADZOR visited the Republic of Belarus in order to determine joint work on the prevention of infectious diseases of birds on the territory of industrial poultry facilities in the current epizootic situation in the world and aggressive sanctions policy.
At the moment, in the scheme of vaccination of infectious diseases of birds at poultry enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, vaccines produced by FGBI "ARRIAH" are used: against Newcastle disease from the La Sota strain, against infectious bronchitis of chickens from the H-120 strain, against infectious bursal disease from the strain " Winterfield 2512". Both live dry and inactivated ARRIAH vaccines are used, in particular, the vaccine associated against avian influenza (H9N2) and Newcastle disease inactivated emulsion.
In addition, live dry vaccine against infectious bronchitis of chickens from the ARRIAH793/V strain will be applied in the near future. The vaccine is aimed at the prevention of variant strains of IBV, which are currently widespread in the Russian Federation. However, in the vaccination schedule, it can be used in combination with vaccines from the Massachusetts serotype (eg: H-120, Ma5). In practical terms, this contributes to an increase in the intensity of immunity to the IBV virus, and the use of such a strategy is effective for chickens of various directions of productivity.
At the moment, the updated vaccination scheme is working and bringing significant results.
The management of the enterprise expressed its readiness for long-term cooperation with the FGBI "ARRIAH" for monitoring and supporting technological processes in the areas of biosecurity and vaccination of industrial livestock with the provision of scientific and consulting services.
