Grain producers in the Ivanovo region will receive state support

The volume of federal budget funds for the Ivanovo Region to reimburse farmers for part of the costs of producing and selling grain crops in 2021 will amount to 15.1 million rubles. The order on the distribution of interbudgetary transfers to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin.

The funds will be sent to agricultural producers of the Ivanovo region to reimburse part of the costs of production and sale of grain crops. Up to half of the costs for the purchase of seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products, fuels and lubricants, phytosanitary examination of grain crops and other areas will be compensated.

This support measure will help stabilize prices for grain products in the domestic market.

Approximately 20 agricultural producers of the region will be able to apply for a new type of state support. The Regional Department of Agriculture and Food will start accepting documents for the provision of a subsidy in November 2021.

The cash is provided under a new grain damper mechanism that was adopted this summer. The government tied EXPORT duties on agricultural products to grain prices on the world market. The introduction of floating rates made it possible to provide additional funds to producers of wheat, rye, barley, and corn.

Recall, in addition, for grain producers there is another type of state support in the form of a subsidy to stimulate the production of grain and leguminous crops. This year, 40 million rubles are provided for these purposes.
