The company is located in the center of the Volgograd region and is engaged in both crop and livestock production.

Crop production is: growing wheat, mustard, as well as fodder crops for livestock: alfalfa, corn for silage, etc. The total area is about 20 thousand hectares of land.

The livestock direction is: 1500 heads of cattle together with young animals, including one herd of breeding cattle of the Hereford breed. At present, the enterprise is aimed at obtaining the status of a breeding reproducer for this breed. Also on the farm there are such breeds as the Kazakh white-headed, Simmental. Cows of these breeds are covered with Herefords using artificial insemination. The resulting cross-breed bulls are sent for fattening with further sale. The heifers remain on the farm for the repair of commodity herds and sale.

Scientific support of the farm is carried out by GNU NIIMMP (Volgograd), which, with grant support from the Russian Science Foundation, is working to increase the yield of meat when fattening livestock.

JSC "Berdiesky Elevator Agro" stimulates its specialists, including with the purchase of housing for young families. In addition, in the village where the farm is located, there is all the necessary infrastructure, schools, hospitals, shops, post office.

At the time of filming, the farm was implementing a project to build its own slaughterhouse, which will significantly increase the profitability of the farm due to the sale of finished products by the HoReCa enterprise.
