PIONERPRODUKT.by continues to publish videos from the AgroExpedition "Agriculture of the Republic of Dagestan"
In this video, we will show an unusual business - a dogwood garden. We will also talk with the General DIRECTOR of the Askor company about the features of dogwood gardening.
Dogwood from the Turkic language means "red", is a shrub or a small tree. This species received this name due to the bright scarlet color of the fruits, which, by the way, are very rich in vitamin C and pectin substances.
By the way, dogwood for agricultural needs is a very complex plant, because. grows for a very long time (about 10 years), i.e. investments in it will begin to pay off only after a decade! Therefore, this dogwood garden can be called a social project that was founded for the people, for the republic, for the country.
The area of the garden is 20 hectares, which makes it one of the largest dogwood gardens in Europe. The dogwood garden belongs to the field of intensive gardening. On average, there are 880 trees per hectare of the garden with a planting pattern of 3x4 meters. On average, the cost of planting a hectare of a garden costs 1 million rubles, so this garden needs subsidies (the dogwood itself is already included in the register of subsidized crops). All seedlings were brought from the territory of the Crimean peninsula.
Irrigation of the dogwood garden is carried out using drip irrigation using special moisture meters, the readings of which determine the amount of irrigation.
Processing of the aisle from weeds is carried out mechanically using a cutter, while the drip irrigation hoses are moved away and placed between the tractor wheels so as not to damage. Herbicides are not used in weed control.
Mineral top dressing is carried out, which is calculated after an annual soil analysis.
Since no one was engaged in the industrial cultivation of dogwood in the Soviet years, there is no good scientific base in this area. Owners have to search for information on their own, including in foreign sources. Therefore, we want to turn to agronomists and other specialists and offer cooperation with Askor in this direction. All contacts are in the description.
