In addition to gardening, Surkhai Pirasulmagomedovich is also involved in livestock farming - he raises bulls. This business dates back to the 90s.
At the time of filming, there were 400 head of bulls on the farm of Suhrai Pirasulmagomedovich. Fattening bulls are bought on the market at the age of 6-12 months. There is no specific breed, since the animals that are available on the market are purchased. But in any case, these are all bulls of meat breeds.
Extruded feed is prepared on the farm using an extruder. Sometimes soaked oats are given. Water for drinking cattle is supplied from a well. Hay is purchased from intermediaries in a volume of 15-20 thousand bales at a cost of 150-200 rubles per piece. In terms of cost structure, the main share falls on feed – 70%.
According to Sukhrai Pirasulmagomedovich, on average, fattening one bull per month brings in 1,000 rubles. The fattening period is 10-12 months, from which it is not difficult to calculate the net profit.
The walls of the barn are made of bricks, which are placed on clay, and the outside is lined with a mixture of clay and straw. In addition to premises for tether fattening of cattle, the farm has walking areas where fattening also takes place.
Also, the area around the farm is slowly being leveled with new areas for fruit plots, and besides, there is a ready-made school of cherries nearby.
