The family farm is located in the Mamadysh district of the Republic of Tatarstan and specializes in dairy cattle breeding, milk production and milk processing.
Cows are represented by two breeds: the traditional black-and-white cattle for Tatarstan and the Ayrshire breed, which is famous for its high quality of milk. The average milk yield per HEAD per day is 20 liters of milk.
At the time of filming, there were 97 heads of cattle on the farm, of which 50 were milking. Artificial insemination of cows, the seed is purchased at specialized enterprises. All livestock are grazed on pastures around the clock, and 2 times a day they are driven into the housing for milking at 4 o'clock and 16 o'clock.
Load on pastures one dairy cow per hectare. The pastures are owned by the farm. Also, the property has 100 hectares of hayfields and 100 hectares of grain.
Milkis sold to a local dairy, whose milk collectors themselves come to the farm. Initially, the farm itself processed milk and every day, for ten years, milk, sour cream, yogurt, etc. They took them to the market, where they sold them themselves. However, with the expansion of the farm, it was decided to temporarily suspend its processing, but again return to processing on a larger scale.
The farm plans to increase the livestock to 200 dairy cows of the Ayrshire breed, which will be purchased at breeding plants in the Kirov region.
Currently, the family farm makes extensive use of state subsidies, which return 50 thousand rubles. for each purchased head. In addition, the Ministry of Agriculture of Tatarstan provided support, including a grant, for which a cowshed for 50 heads was built.
