The first seminars of the “Participation” project

On February 10 and 11, 2022 at 11:00 am, we invite everyone interested to seminars on promising areas of the project, training farmers and other representatives of the agro-industry on the specifics of organic agriculture and the inclusion of people with special needs in society.

On the 10th, lectures on the main topics of the project will be delivered by the organizers of the project, potential partners, Italian experts in multi-stakeholder partnerships and social farming, as well as representatives of inclusive initiatives. We will tell you more about the project itself, discuss ways of cooperation and multilateral partnership.

And also:
- let's talk about socially oriented and organic farming,
- community-supported agriculture,
- about the role of people with special needs in the agro-industrial sphere.
We will touch upon the topic of employment and assistance to people in difficult conditions: the low-income or the unemployed.

The project "Village Svetlana" will tell about many years of experience in the rehabilitation of people with mental disabilities on the farm. Representatives of the Anton is Right Here Charitable Foundation will highlight the topic of systemic support for people with autism spectrum disorders. And the employees of the inclusive workshops "Simple Things" will share the features of the organization of their work.

The Union of Organic Farming will share the specifics of the development of organic agriculture for small and medium-sized farms. The manager of LPH Ivanovsky Sad will talk about what social services a small organic farm with a garden, a kitchen garden and a greenhouse can provide. The organizer of the project "Forum of Organic Farming and Permaculture" will highlight the topic of solidarity purchases.

Italian partners from the AIAB-Umbria and Felcos-Umbria associations will talk about multilateral cooperation, socially oriented farming and a collective certification system.

On February 11, the meeting will be dedicated to the development of organic and social farming and solidarity purchases in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region and will be of interest to practicing farmers. Speakers from such organizations as Union of Organic Farming, AIAB-Umbria (Italy), Forum of Organic Farming and Permaculture will speak. As well as representatives of the organic store "Organic Origin", the farm "Nikola Lenivets", "Torre Colombaia", "Ecoderzay" and others.

Colleagues from the Italian Association of Organic Farming "AIAB-Umbria" and the "Union of Organic Farming" ( RUSSIA ) will present presentations "Transition to organic agriculture - standards, certification, marketing" and "The practice of joint purchases of organic products in Italy".
