Orenburg products have conquered Chinese consumers

Orenburg marmalade, jam, pasta, MILK powder and butter have attracted the interest of Chinese buyers.
During a business mission to CHINA , Andreevskoe Podvorye, Altyn-Max and Novosergievsky Creamery companies demonstrated their products and received proposals for promising EXPORT contracts. Representatives of the Orenburg region met with local distributors and importers, took part in a contact and cooperation exchange, and received advice on doing business in China and the current market needs for Russian goods.
“Mutual trade between the Orenburg region and China has demonstrated growth dynamics over recent years. In 2022, foreign trade turnover exceeded the level of 2021 by 2.3 times, and the level of the pandemic year of 2020 by 2.7 times. it should be noted that over 5 years, exports increased by 2.5 times, and imports by 1.9 times,” commented Governor Denis Pasler.”
Agricultural and industrial goods are in high demand in China; they have high export potential. The Chinese side has shown interest in supplying large volumes. In the first half of 2023, enterprises in the region began to actively export agricultural products. The export portfolio of the Orenburg region on the Chinese market has been replenished with oil seeds and fruits, confectionery products, processed vegetables, fruits, and nuts.
The business mission to China was organized by the Export Support Center of the Orenburg Region (My Business Center) within the framework of the national project “International Cooperation and Export”. Next, with the assistance of the Center’s specialists, it is necessary to develop logistics routes, determine the terms of cooperation, and also agree on the volumes and prices of supplies.
