In almost two weeks of the season, 42 tons of berries were harvested, which is ten tons more than last year.
DIRECTOR of OGUP Bakcharskoye Roman Pushkin said that in 2021 the company planned to obtain 45 tons of honeysuckle from an area of 32 hectares.
“The main camp was very efficient. Thanks to good weather and last year's pruning of honeysuckle bushes, crop losses were minimal. The increase in the number of seasonal workers, including those from other regions, helped to carry out the cleaning in the shortest possible time. The recollection is now completed. If the weather permits, the harvest plan will be overfulfilled,” he said.
The main volume - about 33 tons - was purchased "from the bush" by the SAVA company for processing. Another part of the harvest was distributed in small wholesale and among private buyers.
Bakcharskoye plans to plant five more hectares of honeysuckle and purchase additional equipment for a total of about 5.5 million rubles: a rotator for cultivating old plantings and speeding up the crop rotation process, as well as a drum-type sprinkler for watering seedlings in the nursery.
The honeysuckle plantation is replenished with seedlings of the varieties Strezhevchanka, Vostorg, Silginka, Avalanche, Mammoth, Blue Rock, Blue Ball, Tomichka, Sibiryachka. Bakcharskoye sells all new varieties, including among the population: in the spring, about 30 thousand seedlings were sold, and the increase in revenue was 19%. it is planned to sell more than 100,000 honeysuckle seedlings in autumn. The main volume of demand for planting material is provided by the laying of industrial gardens of small and large areas.
