One of the agricultural enterprises in the Lipetsk region robotized production

At the plant of the resident of the special economic zone “Lipetsk”, work has been completed to automate the existing packaging lines in the plant protection products workshops. Now packaging of finished products into boxes and laying boxes on pallets can be carried out around the clock.
Robotic complexes were installed in the plant’s workshops, which included industrial robots from one of the world’s leading manufacturers. Since September 2023, powerful, high-speed and maneuverable robots have been packing canisters of the company’s plant protection products into boxes and moving the boxes onto pallets, which has significantly eased the work of stackers and increased the pace of work.
At the same time, it was very important for the enterprise that during the process of modernizing the plant not a single employee was fired, replaced by robots. All specialists were employed in other areas of production, which was growing every year. “Personnel is now one of the most valuable resources at Lipetsk enterprises. It is great that companies are modernizing in such a way that they automate lines, increase capacity, increase product output, and at the same time wisely redistribute employees between production areas. This is the right strategy,” said Lipetsk Region Governor Igor Artamonov.
This agricultural enterprise is one of the most powerful plants in RUSSIA producing plant protection chemicals. The annual design capacity of the plant is more than 50 million liters of products that meet international standards. The plant was opened in 2020, and since then its modernization has not been interrupted. The company's contribution to import substitution was assessed at the highest level - in 2022, the plant was included in the list of systemically important organizations of the Russian economy.
