Applicants will be able to submit the required documents from April 28 to May 16.
A mandatory requirement for obtaining a grant is more than 1 year of farming experience. A family farm must be registered by a citizen of the Russian Federation in a rural area or rural agglomeration. The participant of the competition must prepare a project (business plan) for the development of his farm, implement it within two years with the help of a grant and carry out his activities for at least 5 years after receiving the grant.
Grant funds can be used for the construction, reconstruction or modernization of economic facilities, the purchase of machinery and equipment, the purchase of animals and poultry, fish seed. The farmer also undertakes to create at least three new jobs and increase the volume of agricultural production by at least 8% annually over the next five years. Priority in obtaining grants will be given to family farms that grow dairy and beef cattle, as well as those involved in the production of potatoes and vegetables.
After accepting the necessary documents from potential grant recipients, the commission of the ministry will evaluate them with the assignment of points and determine the winners. On June 3, a meeting of the competition commission will be held to sum up the results of the selection.
Grant support for the development of family farms will be provided in the total amount of 40 million rubles. To receive it, the winners of the selection will need to conclude an agreement with the regional Ministry of Agriculture in the state integrated information system for managing public finances "Electronic Budget".
In general, 109.3 million rubles will be allocated for the development of small businesses in the Chelyabinsk region in 2022. In addition to grants for the development of family farms, it is planned to allocate 50.4 million rubles for Agrostartup grants and 14.3 million rubles for reimbursement of costs for the purchase of products by agricultural cooperatives. The Competence Center, which provides consulting support to small rural businesses, will be allocated 3.5 million rubles. 1.1 million rubles will be allocated for a new direction of support - the development of rural tourism.
