The People's Farmer Association appealed to the Chairman of the State Duma Agrarian Committee Vladimir Kashin with a request to take into account the proposals of the farming community when considering the draft law on agricultural land. In particular, exclude the possibility of obtaining land without bidding only once.
Recall that now the State Duma is considering a bill that provides for the allocation of state or municipal land plots to farmers without bidding.
The farm association generally supports the bill. It is long-awaited, especially for small and family farms, which cannot fully compete in bidding with large agricultural enterprises and most often lose, are left without land.
However, the new bill allows only one time to allocate land without bidding. Many farmers cultivate several plots of land, they intend to periodically expand the sown area. And having received the land once, the next time the farmer will again have to participate in the auction on a common basis.
In order for farms to develop smoothly, the People's Frimer association proposes to exclude the condition of a one-time allocation of land without bidding from the draft law.
