
On January 25, the solemn opening of the livestock complex in the village of Gusevka, Choi district, took place. The project was implemented as part of an individual program for the socio-economic development of the region for 2020-2024.
The opening was attended by the HEAD of the Republic of Altai, Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Altai Oleg Khorokhordin, Chairman of the State Assembly-El Kurultai of the Republic of Altai Artur Kokhoev, Minister of Agriculture of the region Andrey Tsygulev, agricultural producers of the republic engaged in dairy cattle breeding.
“In order to effectively develop agricultural production, create added value and create new jobs, we have set the task of moving from the delivery of products with raw materials, live weight to its deep processing. The federal government also supported us in this endeavor. As part of the individual program for the socio-economic development of the Republic of Altai, serious resources were provided for agricultural development activities, including the construction of dairy farms,” the head of the region said.
Last year, the Amza agro-industrial park began to operate, on the sites of which local producers can process MEAT, wild plants, honey, produce drinks and other environmentally friendly food products on preferential lease terms. Maima-Moloko, SEC Abaisky, Cherginsky Butter and Cheese Plant received support for the modernization of dairy products processing workshops. The project of creating a dairy farm for 200 heads of cattle was also supported, which was implemented by Tashta LLC in the village of Gusevka.
“The economy has invested its own funds in the facility. This suggests that the project is conceived seriously and for a long time. The construction was completed on schedule, a breeding young Simmental breed was purchased. I am especially pleased that the farm has created 22 jobs for local residents,” added Oleg Khorokhordin.
The livestock complex includes a cowshed for 200 heads, a maternity ward with a dispensary, a dairy block, a feed storage warehouse, auxiliary facilities, including two modular buildings for sanitary checkpoints and a checkpoint building.
The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Armenia Andrey Tsygulev, addressing the audience, stressed that this facility is the first livestock breeding complex of this scale in the region, opened in recent decades. “We are sure that this is the beginning, and in the coming years new large facilities of this type will appear in our villages,” he added.
According to Sergey Kireev, general DIRECTOR of Tashta LLC, the enterprise is expected to produce 2.5-3 tons of MILK per day. He added that the animals for the farm were purchased from the Anuisky Altai Territory, which is a pedigree reproducer for breeding Simmental cattle.
As part of the opening, awards were presented. Letters of thanks from the Head of the Republic of Altai, the Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Altai were presented to the foreman of the Gusev farm Nikolai Luzin and the chief engineer of Eurodom LLC Daniil Semenov. Also, for the needs of the farm, the farm received a certificate for a refrigerator.
