Novgorod region among the leaders

The Ministry of Agriculture of RUSSIA conducts operational monitoring of bringing budget allocations for state support of the country's agro-industrial complex. In 2021, 151.5 billion rubles were transferred to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Of these funds, the regions brought to the recipients 149.9 billion rubles, which is 99% of the total.

The Novgorod region is one of 17 subjects of Russia that have fully utilized federal budget funds for the development of agriculture and rural areas. In 2021, 608.3 million rubles were transferred to agricultural producers in the region, of which 393.5 million rubles were from the federal budget. 106.5 million rubles were allocated for the comprehensive development of rural areas. The share of federal funds was 66.2%.

“Timely development of the budget became possible due to three factors. The first is that funding was opened in February. This made it possible to provide support per hectare by the beginning of spring field work. The second factor is the timely provision of documents by agricultural producers. And the third is the allocation of additional funds from the regional budget, more than 33 million were allocated for per hectare support and the purchase of equipment by agricultural organizations and peasant (farm) enterprises, - Elena Pokrovskaya, Minister of Agriculture of the Novgorod Region, commented on this news.

Also, more than 55 million rubles of these funds were sent to agricultural producers within the framework of the Russian National Projects "International Cooperation and Export" and "Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives".
