In the Stavropol Territory, the readiness of agricultural machinery for autumn field work exceeds 95%

Today, in the machine and tractor park of agricultural producers of the Stavropol Territory, there are more than 63 thousand units of agricultural machinery ready for autumn field work. Among them are over 17.4 thousand tractors, about 7.6 thousand trucks, more than 6.5 thousand forage and grain harvesters, as well as the necessary train of trailed and mounted agricultural machines and implements.

Currently on the agenda of the Stavropol agrarians is the completion of work on the harvesting of silage and sowing of rapeseed; harvesting SUGAR beets, potatoes, as well as tilled and vegetable crops. By the end of September, after sowing fodder crops, agricultural producers should start sowing winter crops en masse.

“The economy of the region has prepared almost the entire arsenal of harvesting, tillage and sowing equipment for the current autumn field work. Readiness for all types of agricultural machinery is more than 95%. This is quite enough to carry out the entire cycle of autumn field work,” commented Sergey Ridny, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Territory.

In addition, the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex are sufficiently provided with diesel fuel. Today, its reserves exceed 40 thousand tons, which is 70% of the need to complete the entire complex of autumn field work.
