4.3 billion rubles have been allocated to support agricultural enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod region from the beginning of 2024 . This was reported byMinister of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Nikolay Denisov.
“The 2024 budget provides 6.3 billion rubles to support the agro-industrial complex and the development of rural areas of the Nizhny Novgorod region, of which 4.2 billion rubles are allocated from the regional budget, 2.1 billion from the federal budget. Since the beginning of this year, 4.3 billion rubles of subsidies have already been delivered to recipients,” said Nikolai Denisov.
The head of the regional Ministry of Agriculture explained that almost 1.5 billion rubles were allocated to support livestock farming - these are subsidies to reimburse part of the costs associated with milk production, keeping and artificial insemination of animals, and the purchase of breeding stock. Support for crop production amounted to 1.5 billion rubles - these are subsidies for the production of grain, potatoes, vegetables, crop insurance, and compensation for part of the costs associated with the purchase of equipment and elite seeds. The remaining part of the funds was allocated to preferential lending programs, support for farms and the implementation of projects for the integrated development of rural areas.
