The agricultural exhibition "Field Day 2021" has shown its effectiveness as a platform for the exchange of experience among farmers and the establishment of business ties. An extensive exposition of agricultural machinery and equipment, located on a field near the village of Timiryazevsky, Chebarkulsky District, allowed the guests of the exhibition - managers and specialists of agricultural enterprises - to compare samples of equipment from different manufacturers and choose the one they liked for their farm.

More than 100 companies - manufacturers of goods and resources for the agricultural business - tried to show their best products.

Among the equipment for large agricultural enterprises, the exhibition featured combine harvesters manufactured by the Rostov plant Rostselmash and Belarusian combines from Gomselmash, as well as foreign-made agricultural machines, which were presented by Chelyabinsk dealer companies Agrokom-Ural, Agrocenter, Chelyabagrosnab other.

A notable part of the exposition was equipment produced in the Chelyabinsk region: equipment for mill complexes of the Chelyabinsk plant "Spetselevatormelmontazh", wheeled sprayers of the Miass enterprise "Zarya", mini-tractors from Yemanzhelinsk "Uralets", as well as tillage and sowing equipment manufactured by "CHKZ-Agro »: discators, sowing complexes, cultivators, agricultural trailers for the transportation of organic fertilizers, silage, haylage.

- The exhibition is distinguished by a huge amount of equipment, - comments the Minister of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk region Alexei Kobylin. - Experts from agriculture have been invited so that we can look at our latest achievements, including in the development of mechanical engineering and agricultural science. More than 100 enterprises are represented, including about 35 agricultural engineering companies. About 30% of this equipment has already been purchased at the exhibition. Renovation of the technical park, cooperation with science allow us today to work with the land in a quality manner, and this, in turn, makes it possible to improve economic indicators. Even in drought conditions, due to this, many agricultural enterprises manage to avoid additional losses.

Deputy Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Evgeny Golitsyn noted that good agricultural production indicators of the Chelyabinsk Region are achieved primarily due to the work of farmers, the introduction of modern technologies to overcome economic and weather difficulties. In this they are helped by modern equipment, in the acquisition of which agricultural enterprises are supported by state subsidies.

The exhibition featured stands of manufacturers of machinery and equipment from the regions of the Ural Federal District and the Russian Federation as a whole, scientific organizations of the Southern Urals, seed farms, the Russian Agricultural Bank, manufacturers of plant protection products against weeds, diseases and pests.

Roman Nekrasov, DIRECTOR of the Department of Plant Growing, Mechanization, Chemicalization and Plant Protection of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, shared his impression of the variety of agricultural equipment shown and the capabilities of the Chelyabinsk Region:
— I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of agricultural equipment that is produced in the Chelyabinsk Region. We see that agricultural engineering is a fairly new industry for Chelyabinsk. We used to know, for example, only Chelyabinsk tractors, but today we see a wide range of tillage machines, novelties in the production of seeders, and so on. What Chelyabinsk residents are doing today in terms of sprayers commands respect. It is gratifying that the region is included not only in the agricultural, but also in the industrial agenda of our country, thereby strengthening food security.

“Today we understand that without a modern system of technologies, without a modern system of machines, it will not be possible to go far. Especially in a region with such a harsh climate as the Chelyabinsk region, where all technological operations must be carried out quickly and with appropriate agrotechnical requirements. And, of course, the breeding achievements that were demonstrated at the exhibition today are the best choice in terms of local conditions, the local climate,” concluded Roman Nekrasov. “Therefore, those barleys, those wheats that were presented today deserve great respect, and for this many thanks and low bow to the scientists of the Southern Urals! The fact that in Chelyabinsk they know how to work with the land, they know how to engage in animal husbandry, and the region is one of the most high-tech in the field of agricultural production, this is an indisputable fact.”

The official delegation, consisting of the heads of the regional government and the Ministry of Agriculture of the region, a department of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, examined the exhibition models of equipment, as well as the exposition of farm animals that are bred and kept in South Ural farms. Some of the artiodactyls have already found their new owners at the exhibition. Among the living exhibits were a two-year-old black-and-white heifer Karamelka from the Koelginskoye agricultural cooperative named after Shundeev I.N., a Baikal Simmental breed bull from Sovkhoz Bredinsky LLC, a race stallion Bombardier of the Orlovskaya trotting breed from Preduralie LLC, Verkhneuralsky district, the goat Althea from the family farmstead of the farmer Elena Mokina;

For example, pedigree cattle at affordable prices are sold in the breeding farm of Sarafanovo SPK. “We sell breeding stock for 231 rubles per kilogram of live weight, heifers weigh up to 500 kilograms. This year, 138 heads have already been sold, ”said Olga Schipacheva, chief livestock specialist of the Sarafanovo SPK of the Chebarkulsky district. Farmers value Sarafan cattle for their high productivity in any climatic zone of the Southern Urals.

Achievements of the seed industry were demonstrated by the specialists of Chebarkul Seeds LLC. The company has been engaged in the propagation of seeds of grain crops since 2016. Among the elite seeds that the enterprise produces are wheat varieties Chelyaba 75, Chelyaba steppe, Chelyaba early, barley - Chelyabinsky 99, Omsky 95, Krauf, rainbow oats and other crops. All these varieties were told by the HEAD of the primary seed production department of the company, Lydia Pualakkainan.

On the second day of the exhibition, a competition for agricultural tractor drivers and a gathering of rural youth took place.
