At the agro-industrial exhibition, SURSAU specialists will examine kittens and advise gardeners

At the booth of the South Ural State Agrarian University at AGRO-2021, you can get advice from a candidate of veterinary sciences and show your pet, get advice from certified agronomists and purchase seedlings. The largest regional agro-industrial exhibition on the square in front of the Traktor Ice Arena in Chelyabinsk will open on August 19.

AGRO-2021 will bring together more than 150 participants: processing companies, banks, farms, research centers and laboratories, agricultural engineering enterprises. South Ural State Agrarian University will present its new project at AGRO - "Ambulance Veterinary Care". Pet owners will have a unique opportunity to show their pet and get advice from Olga Naumova, Candidate of Veterinary Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Non-Contagious Diseases of the South Ural State Agrarian University, and Natalia Kruptsova, teacher of the Department of Non-Contagious Diseases, who will conduct primary diagnostics of pet health.

“Primary diagnostics of the health status of pets will be carried out by leading specialists, teachers of veterinary disciplines of the university. Most importantly, diagnostics are free. As a result, the owner will receive a description of the animal and recommendations from a specialist,” said Natalia Nizamutdinova, SUSU Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation.

Also in the SURSAU pavilion, gardeners will be able to get advice from agronomists and purchase seedlings grown in the experimental plots of the university. “We will also present other products of the university: honey from our apiary, bread that we bake ourselves. I think it will be interesting for visitors to try tea, which SUSU scientists have learned to prepare carefully, with the preservation of all healing properties,” the Vice-Rector continued her acquaintance with the exposition. And future applicants will have the opportunity to learn more about the first university in the Chelyabinsk region.
