1 hectare of farmland in Chuvashia accounts for 1.67 thousand rubles of state support

In 2023, the Chuvash Republic was allocated 1.67 thousand rubles per 1 hectare of agricultural land. state support on the terms of co-financing from the regional budget. Such data follows from calculations of the Chuvash branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Agroanalytics Center”.
State support funds pledged in 2023 on co-financing terms in Chuvashia were disbursed by more than 91% by December 7. In total, according to the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, more than 1.7 billion rubles were allocated for the region this year.
By December 7, the most funds were allocated to recipients of subsidies to ensure the comprehensive development of rural areas - this is 511.21 million rubles, or 32% of all funds disbursed; to stimulate the development of priority sub-sectors of the agro-industrial complex and the development of small forms of farming, 415.49 million rubles, or 25.6%, were transferred to farmers; to support agricultural production in the crop and livestock sub-sectors - 271.2 million rubles, or 16.7%.
According to the incentive part of the state program, most of the funds were allocated to increasing productivity in dairy farming (54%), supporting cooperatives (21%) and family farms (15%). In the supporting part, funds were allocated for the development of livestock breeding (45%), unrelated support in the field of crop production (26%) and elite seed production (25%).
As the Deputy Prime Minister previously reported,Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov, in the region for 2024, more than 3.4 billion rubles have been allocated to support the agro-industrial complex and villages, including funds from the republican budget - 2.5 billion rubles, federal budget - 0.9 billion rubles. Of this volume, 2.9 billion rubles will be allocated directly to support the agro-industrial complex. — more than last year’s initial budget by 29.1%. The comprehensive development of rural areas will be supported in the amount of over 560 million rubles, which is 19.4% more than a year earlier. Subsidization is provided in 78 areas.
7 agricultural organizations in the region have already passed the federal selection for subsidizing investment projects in 2024: JSC "Churachikskoe", LLC "VDS", LLC "Rodina", LLC "CheboMilk", Agricultural Production Complex "Komintern" and Agricultural Production Complex "Novy Put" with projects to create new facilities for dairy cattle , as well as K(F)H Kuznetsov V.L. with a project for the construction of a potato storage facility. These enterprises will be reimbursed 20-25% of project costs, another 15% will be returned from the republican budget.
For the integrated development of rural areas, 1,500 initiative budgeting projects in rural areas have already been selected for 2024. Of these, 61% are for updating playgrounds, housing and communal services, social and cultural spheres, swimming places, etc., about 39% are for road repairs.
