Dairy complex for 800 heads put into operation in the Nizhny Novgorod region

More than 69 million rubles of regional subsidies were directed to the creation of a livestock facility.
A dairy complex for 800 heads of cattle was put into operation in the urban district of Vorotynsky, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The object was built under the state program "Development of the agro-industrial complex of the Nizhny Novgorod region" in Semyanskoye JSC. The farm was visited by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Resources of the region Nikolay Denisov.
“We see that today livestock complexes are modern production, where favorable conditions have been created for animals for keeping and obtaining high productivity. The automated feeding and milking technologies that are used there can significantly reduce manual labor and increase production efficiency,” said Nikolai Denisov.
The minister recalled that last year, under the regional program, 21 new livestock facilities were built in the region and four were reconstructed. For their construction, agricultural enterprises allocated 2 billion rubles, of which more than 650 million rubles were compensated to them at the expense of the regional budget.
“The construction of farms has been carried out in stages, since 2017, with the gradual filling of them with livestock, we settled the last 400 heads in 2020-2021. We allocated 172 million rubles for the construction of livestock yards with a dairy hall - this is a lot of money for us, and without state support we would not have mastered such a large-scale project. According to the regional program, we received reimbursement of expenses in the amount of 69.3 million rubles - this is good support,” said Vladimir Avdeev, General Director of Semyanskoye JSC.
Meat farms are also being built with state support in the urban district of Vorotynsky.
“Implementation of projects in meat and dairy cattle breeding allows increasing the volume of agricultural products and creating new jobs in the regions of the region. At the same time, it is important that, along with production, the infrastructure of settlements be developed, the latter is facilitated by the state program “Integrated Development of Rural Territories,” Nikolay Denisov added.
According to the state program “Integrated development of rural areas, two roads were repaired in the Vorotynsky district last year - in the villages of Semyany and Ognev-Maidan. This year, within the framework of the program, the municipality plans to repair street and road networks in the villages of Privolzhsky and Krasnaya Gorka, and the improvement of the park of labor glory in the village of Semyany will also be carried out.
