MicroSolar liquid Zinc: profit included!

The lack of microelements affects the most important biological processes that occur in plant organisms. With their deficiency, the immunity and resistance of plants to stress decreases, growth processes and photosynthesis deteriorate, and the yield and quality of agricultural products decrease. To prevent negative developments, you need to use fertilizers containing microelements. For example, a new product from the largest Russian manufacturer of mineral fertilizers of the Uralchem Group, MicroSolar liquid Zinc, which we will discuss in this article.

Microelement with macrofunctionality

Zinc is a microelement with a very wide functionality. Let's start with the fact that it is part of more than 30 enzymes, participates in the synthesis of proteins, starch, chlorophyll, as well as tryptophan - the amino acid from which auxins are formed: growth hormones. In addition, zinc increases plant resistance to drought and certain diseases.
Zinc deficiency is observed in alkaline soils: at a pH level of 7-8 and above, its availability for plants drops sharply. It should also be remembered that with a high content of phosphates in the soil, zinc can bind with them into insoluble forms that are inaccessible to plants.
The new liquid mineral fertilizer MicroSolar liquid Zinc will help prevent zinc starvation. It contains at least 6% zinc, which is in the most accessible chelated form for plants (EDTA). In addition, the fertilizer contains at least 5% nitrogen, as well as 0.2% boron.
As is known, corn is one of the most responsive agricultural crops to the addition of zinc. And the mineral fertilizer MicroSolar liquid Zinc is what is needed for the formation of high yields. But its scope of application is not limited to corn alone, because zinc plays an important role in the nutrition of other grain crops, as well as potatoes.
This fertilizer can be used both for foliar feeding in order to correct the mineral nutrition of plants and prevent microelement deficiency, and for pre-sowing seed treatment.
And one more important nuance: MicroSolar liquid Zinc can be used together with pesticides and other water-soluble fertilizers.

The focus is on corn.
There is a wide range of microfertilizers containing zinc on the domestic market. But in terms of efficiency and economic returns, these agrochemicals differ significantly from each other. This fact is confirmed by experiments launched last year in different regions of RUSSIA. Let's look at some of the results in more detail.
So, the crop is corn for grain, the regions are the Saratov region and the Krasnodar region. The initial data are the same: the design of each experiment included two experimental variants, where MicroSolar liquid Zinc was compared with an analogue fertilizer, and one control variant (without the use of zinc-containing agrochemicals). The phase in which the treatments were carried out was 5 leaves. The fertilizer consumption rate is 1.0 l/ha.
In each of the experiments, the use of MicroSolar liquid Zinc led to a cascade of positive effects: as a result of its use, the number of rows in the cob and the number of grains in the row increased, the weight of the grain in the cob and the weight of 1000 grains increased.
Now let’s turn to specific numbers, and start with the Saratov region. Here, the corn yield with the MicroSolar liquid Zinc fertilizer was 63.1 c/ha. This is 3.4 c/ha more than in the variant where a zinc-containing fertilizer from another manufacturer was used, and 6.7 c/ha more than in the control. Accordingly, the profit from the use of MicroSolar liquid Zinc turned out to be high: 2781 rub./ha relative to the analogue product, 5301 rub./ha relative to the control without foliar feeding.
Similar results were obtained in the Krasnodar region. In the area where MicroSolar liquid Zinc was used, the yield reached 80.8 c/ha. This is 6.3 c/ha more than in the control variant. The profit turned out to be significant: relative to the analog product 1921 rubles/ha, relative to the control 5701 rubles/ha

Today, Russian farmers face a serious task: to maintain the profitability of crop production, without drawdowns in production indicators and a significant increase in the cost of technology. The use of liquid mineral fertilizers from the MicroSolar line, in particular the agrochemical MicroSolar liquid Zinc, allows you to solve the assigned problems, obtaining high yields and decent profits.
