Maral breeders of the Republic of Altai completed the pantoring campaign

All deer farms in the region have completed cutting antlers. According to operational data, 116,088 kg of raw antlers were produced this year.
According to departmental reporting, 68 farms of various forms of ownership are engaged in breeding deer in the republic, eight of them are breeding, with a total livestock of deer - 57.25 thousand heads. Farms annually produce more than 40 tons of canned antlers.
This year, the average productivity per deer stag in the republic is 5.94 kg.
Among agricultural organizations, the highest result for this indicator is occupied by Maral-Tolusoma LLC of the Shebalinsky district (9.2 kg per deer stag). In second place is the SPK PZ "Tenginsky" of the Ongudaysky district (8.2 kg per deer stag). In third place are the Nizhne-Uymonsky SPK and Revital LLC of the Ust-Koksinsky district (7.8 kg per deer stag).
Among the peasant farms of the region, the leader in antler productivity is the farm of Oleg Chenchulaev O.B. from the Ongudaysky district (7.7 kg per one red deer). In second place is the farm of Anatoly Eguzekov from the Shebalinsky district, cut off (7.5 kg per deer stag). In third place is the farm of Marina Egarmina from the Shebalinsky district (7.2 kg per deer stag).
State support for maral breeding industries this year amounted to more than 50 million rubles, of which 20 million rubles under the individual program of socio-economic development of the Altai Republic for 2020-2024, including 14.6 million rubles for breeding stock.
