The best operators of machine milking cows were chosen in the Lipetsk region

The 38th regional competition for machine milking cows was held in the Chaplyginsky district.
“Holding the competition has become a good tradition,” said Oleg Dolgikh, HEAD of the Lipetsk Region Agriculture Department, opening the event. - it helps to identify the best masters of the necessary and important profession - operators of machine milking cows. New approaches and technologies greatly facilitate the work of the livestock breeder. However, every year more and more stringent requirements are imposed on the maintenance of new equipment, animal care, and the use of feed.”
More than 3,000 people work in the region's dairy farming industry, including about 1,000 machine milking operators. This year, representatives of 14 farms, which occupy a leading position in the region, took part in the competition. 23 participants from 10 districts competed in mastery.
The competition was held in two stages: first, the best breeders had to show their skills in disassembling and assembling the milking machine, as well as answering 20 professional questions. Then the participants moved to the summer camp, where they demonstrated their skills in preparing and milking cows in practice.
The jury determined the winners in two nominations: “Best in profession among machine milking masters” with the choice of the absolute champion and “Best in profession among young machine milking masters”. As a result of scoring, Anna Nechepuruk from JSC "Ranenburg-complex" of the Chaplyginsky district became the absolute champion among the masters of machine milking of cows. She has been working in the company since 2015, having moved to our region from Donbass. 1st place in the nomination "Best in profession among the masters of machine milking of cows" was taken by Olga Kruglykh from "Consent" LLC, Izmalkovsky district, 2nd place - Olga Kuzmina from "Agrofirma Trio" LLC, Dolgorukovsky district, 3rd place - Burina Nadezhda from Agroconsulting LLC, Dobrovsky district. In the nomination “The best in profession among young masters of machine milking of cows”, Krasilnikov Denis from LLC “KoloSS” of the Lipetsk region, who took 1st place, Sedova Alena from LLC “Verbilovskoye” of the Lipetsk region - 2nd place, and Loshchina Olga from JSC “Roshchinskoye” of the Chaplyginsk region were honored , which became the third in this nomination. It should be noted that this year the competition has seriously rejuvenated. Eight participants were no more than 35 years old, and the youngest was 21 years old.
Livestock breeders of the Lipetsk region are constantly working to improve performance. Agricultural enterprises and peasant (farm) enterprises of the region produced 127.7 thousand tons of MILK in the first half of the year. The productivity of cows has increased, the average daily weight gain of cattle has increased. In the region, milk yield per cow amounted to 4301 kg, which is 51 kg more than the same indicator last year. The best results in terms of milk productivity are demonstrated by AGROFIRMA TRIO LLC - 5616 kg, Mokroe SHP LLC - 5220 kg, Verbilovskoye LLC - 5185 kg and KoloSS LLC - 5179 kg.
