Ivan Minyukov, beekeeper of Zemetchinsky district, was recognized as the best beekeeper in the Penza region

On August 13, 2021, at the site of the recreation center "Belaya Gora" in the Kamensky district of the Penza region, the regional competition of professional skills "The Best in Profession" in the nomination "The Best Beekeeper" was held.

The regional competition was attended by the best representatives of the industry in the districts of the Penza region. The contestants competed in theoretical knowledge and practical tasks.
The work was evaluated by a competition commission, which included representatives of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, Penza State Agrarian University, the regional veterinary department, as well as representatives of industry organizations.

The competition was opened by Vyacheslav Shinyaev, Acting Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Penza Region. The Acting Deputy Minister wished the contestants a positive attitude and successfully demonstrate their knowledge and skills.
The contestants answered test tasks on the knowledge of beekeeping, namely on the biology and maintenance of the bee colony, the production and quality of biologically active bee products, the reproduction of bees, the methods of breeding bees, breeding work and its features, the breeds of bees and the selection of bee colonies for breeding , fodder base of beekeeping, pollination of agricultural plants by bees, diseases and pests of bees, prevention and control of diseases of bees. They also carried out a practical task - the performance of work on knocking down a bee frame, pulling the wire onto the frame and waxing the bee frames.

Based on the results of the competition tasks, the winners were determined. The first place was taken by Ivan Minyukov, a beekeeper from the Zemetchinsky district of the Penza region, the second place was taken by Vera Trushnina, a beekeeper from the Gorodishchensky district, and the third place was taken by Mikhail Zakalyabin, a beekeeper from the Serdobsky district.

Vyacheslav Shinyaev congratulated the winners on a well-deserved victory and thanked all the participants of the professional skills competition for their active participation and professionalism.
