The best beekeeper works in the Mezhdurechensky district of the Vologda region

11 beekeepers from 11 districts and regions of the Vologda region flew to Tarnoga for the 18th regional beekeepers competition to determine the best in their field. The youngest of them is 17 years old. And the most experienced beekeeper has 22 years of experience.
For two days, the contestants demonstrated their professional skills - they made a frame, formed a hive nest, determined the names and purposes of beekeeping equipment, answered test questions and shared their experiences. They also presented their products at an exhibition-fair, where everyone could try honey from the beekeepers' apiaries and vote for one or another participant.
According to the results of the competition, the absolute leader among beekeepers was Vsevolod Falaleev, Mezhdurechensky District. Second place went to Oleg Zakataev, Vologda District, 3rd place went to Sergey Kharin, Babushkinsky District.
The leaders in the following nominations were also determined:
- "For creativity and creative approach" - Svetlana Kuchkina, Kharovsky municipal district;
- "For the best presentation of beekeeping products" - Oleg Shishigin, Cherepovets district.
And according to the results of the public tasting, the winner in the nomination "The most delicious honey" was Evgeny Lebedev, Sheksninsky district.
