Lipetsk technologist expands peanut butter production and sells it on natural products marketplace

Ivan Somov, a technologist from Dankov, opened his business in February 2022. Using a regional grant, Ivan purchased the necessary equipment and launched the production of two types of products. Two years later, Ivan is already producing five types of nut butter. In addition to peanut butter, he has added chocolate-peanut, hazelnut-chocolate, and almond-chocolate.
Ivan sells his products to order at themed festivals. There are permanent points of sale in the Lipetsk markets. Recently, it has become possible to order the paste online , on the Svoye Rodnoe farm products marketplace.
“The Easy Start program has proven its effectiveness. Entrepreneurs who received this support not only started their own businesses, but also develop enterprises, increase production, and this has a positive effect on the economic potential of both individual territories and the region as a whole. There are more than 100 support measures in the region for small and medium-sized entrepreneurs, with new ones introduced every year. “Interaction between government bodies and business representatives is the basis for the development of our society,” notes Lipetsk Region Governor Igor Artamonov.
