Lipetsk farmers were among the best in the regional stage of the "Young Rural Entrepreneurs" competition.

The regional stage of the "Young Rural Entrepreneurs" project, implemented by the Lipetsk regional branch of the All-Russian youth public organization "Russian Union of Rural Youth" as part of the program training teams of young specialists to implement social projects called "Personnel for the Village," took place.
Young entrepreneurs from the region presented business plans for developing their own agribusinesses in rural areas to the jury. Sergey Chernykh, a farmer from the Usman District, took first place with his project in the "dairy farming" category . Sergey breeds dairy cattle . In 2020, he received an Agrostartup grant. He plans to develop his family farm with the help of state support.
Ilya Grishin from the Lipetsk District took second place. The HEAD of his farm presented a project in the "crop production" category. Ilya also received a grant in 2023. Agrostartup helped him develop his raspberry farm.
Third place was awarded to Anna Gerasimova from the Lipetsk District for her floriculture project. Anna grows chrysanthemums using funds from
a social contract. The winners of the regional round will have the opportunity to participate in the remote round of the All-Russian "Young Rural Entrepreneurs" competition, which runs until April 14 of this year. If their business plans pass the federal evaluation stage, they will be eligible for the competition finals, which will be held in Moscow in April-May 2025.
