
Vegetables of the new crop from Lipetsk gardens are already on the shelves of supermarkets. The Aggregator project, launched on the initiative of the region's governor Igor Artamonov, helps small agricultural companies to promote local products.
“Our farmers produce excellent quality natural products that are in demand. After the launch of Aggregator, it became more convenient and easier to sell goods to small manufacturers. We are gradually expanding the list of project participants, helping recipients of social contracts,” said Igor Artamonov, Governor of the Lipetsk Region.
Vegetables from Lipetsk farmers are delivered to the supermarkets of a large federal retail chain actually directly from the fields. Fresh producenot stale either in warehouses or on the shelves - the products are in great demand. Supermarkets have already received 10,000 kilograms of potatoes, almost 3,000 kilograms of onions and 10,000 kilograms of new beets.
More and more local greens are becoming available in stores. It is mainly grown by social contractors, who also became members of Aggregator this spring. They have already shipped 624 packages of spinach, 240 pieces of lettuce, 384 trays of arugula. The new crop is growing and will soon go on sale.
