Lipetsk farmers will receive 897 million rubles in “united” subsidies this year

The Russian Ministry of Agriculture continues to improve the mechanisms of state support for the agricultural sector. Thus, from 2024 , the so-called “compensatory” and “incentive” subsidies will be combined .
A total of 12 priority areas will be supported. At the same time, for each subject of the Russian Federation, eight areas have been identified for which the “pooled” subsidy is calculated for the next financial year and for the planning period. Of these, five are installed by default for all regions, and three more are determined by the subject independently.
Among the five, “mandatory” for everyone, are carrying out agrotechnological work, increasing fertility, soil quality and the level of environmental safety of agricultural production, elite seed production, livestock breeding, development of small forms of farming and agricultural insurance. Also in the Lipetsk region the production of fruit and berry plantations, MILK and processing of agricultural products will be supported. In total, the region will receive 664.4 million rubles from the federal budget for these eight priority areas. The region will add another 232.6 million rubles.
In addition, the rules for the “pooled” subsidy have undergone a number of changes. The areas of support for small businesses have been expanded, and subsidies for seeds produced within the framework of the Federal Scientific and Technical Commission have been adapted.
