Kuzbass enterprises received subsidies for the accelerated development of commercial fish farming

Two industrial (Belovskoye Fisheries LLC and Siberian Investment Group LLC) and 40 pond fish farms are actively operating in the region.
They manage 69 fish farms. Three of them received subsidies for the accelerated development of commercial fish farming this year.
“Fish farming is not the main area of ​​animal husbandry in the region, however, fish farms are actively developing, and it is in our interests to assist in this development. Considering the course towards import substitution, which was determined for agricultural producers in the new economic situation, the production of such products atypical for Siberia will contribute to the food supply for fish and seafood and strengthen the position of Kuzbass in the food market, ”comments Andrey, Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the region Aritkulov.
Fish farms received a total of 3 million rubles. The funds reimburse part of the costs for each ton of commercial fish sold under the state program "State support for the agro-industrial complex and sustainable development of rural areas of Kuzbass" for 2014-2024.
In 2021, Kuzbass fish farms raised 968 tons of marketable fish. For the 1st quarter of 2022 - 143 tons.
