In the autumn-winter off-season, agricultural enterprises of the Kemerovo region do not stop working. Meetings dedicated to the preparation for the sowing campaign are being held.
Thus, on January 28, Deputy Chairman of the Government of Kuzbass for the agro-industrial complex Denis Ilyin held a meeting with agrarians of the Krapivinsky municipal district. The meeting discussed the development of animal husbandry, the land issue, as well as plans that will be implemented in the district during the 2022 field season.
The start of preparation has already been given - for example, crop farms conclude contracts with suppliers of seeds, fertilizers, fuels and lubricants, agricultural machinery. Much attention is paid to the diagnostics and repair of existing tractors, sowing and tillage machines. Recall that 3,471 tractors, 1,060 seeders, 348 high-performance sowing complexes, as well as 2,288 various tillage units (ploughs, cultivators, harrows, etc.) and 196 units for applying fertilizers were involved in the sowing campaign in 2021 in the fields of Kuzbass.
“Carrying out the spring sowing campaign at the best agrotechnical dates in compliance with all the requirements for agricultural technology and safety is possible only by preparing the necessary equipment for work in advance. That is why the farms of Kuzbass pay great attention to putting equipment in warm hangars for wintering and maintaining the machine and tractor fleet in good condition, ”comments Andrey Aritkulov, Minister of Agriculture and Processing Industry of the region.
In addition, last year, farmers purchased about 350 units of new agricultural equipment, increasing the pace of fleet renewal by almost 40% compared to 2020. Among the leaders in technical re-equipment are Promyshlenovsky, Krapivinsky, Prokopevsky and Leninsk-Kuznetsky districts.
By the way, in the Leninsk-Kuznetsk district this year the renewal of the machine and tractor fleet and grain drying equipment will continue. Thus, it is planned to install new grain drying complexes in five farms of the district. Agricultural producers use concessional loans to purchase machinery.
