The farm will receive subsidies to reimburse part of the costs incurred in the implementation of the facility.
A new dairy complex for 1328 heads of cattle with modern equipment was built at Diveevskoye LLC in the Ardatovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
More than 400 million rubles were allocated for the construction of a livestock facility, up to 50% of this amount will be reimbursed to the farm from the regional budget under the state program "Development of the agro-industrial complex of the Nizhny Novgorod region."
“We plan to put the complex into operation in the near future. We have already purchased 512 heads of dairy cows, we are waiting for them to enter the farm, and we will transfer the rest of the livestock from the old farm. Commissioning will allow us to increase MILK production from 12 tons to 30 tons per day. With the opening of the new complex, 10 additional jobs will be created,” said Sergey Anokhin, HEAD of Diveevskoye LLC.
Nikolai Denisov, Minister of Agriculture and Food Resources of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, noted that the region continues to implement measures aimed at developing dairy cattle breeding.
“One of these measures is the regional program for the construction and reconstruction of livestock facilities, which provides for reimbursement to the agricultural producer of up to 50% of the costs incurred by him during the construction of such an facility. This year, under the program, eighteen new dairy farms are being built and four are being modernized - their total capacity exceeds 7.5 thousand heads of cattle. We hope that the commissioning of the facilities will give a good increase in milk production,” said Nikolay Denisov.
According to the minister, since the beginning of 2021, the construction of seven dairy farms has already been completed, and two have been reconstructed.
Earlier, the minister reported that agricultural organizations and farms in the region continue to increase milk production. According to the results of the first half of 2021, Nizhny Novgorod agricultural producers produced 298.8 thousand tons of milk, which is 4 thousand tons or 1.4% more than the corresponding period of 2020. Currently, the region has achieved self-sufficiency in milk and dairy products of its own production by 80%.
Recall that this year over 1.6 billion rubles are provided to support livestock enterprises in the region, of which 1.1 billion have already been transferred to agricultural producers. State support funds are aimed at supporting milk production in the form of a compensatory subsidy for 1 kg of domestically produced milk sold and an incentive subsidy for one head of cows; to support livestock breeding - maintenance of breeding stock, acquisition of breeding young animals and artificial insemination of cattle; as well as reimbursement of costs for the construction and reconstruction of livestock facilities.
