Another company will join hop cultivation in Chuvashia

Соглашение с организацией планируется заключить на фестивале «Зелёное золото России»
Об этом на совещании оргкомитета мероприятия сообщил вице-премьер, министр сельского хозяйства Чувашии Сергей Артамонов. Акцентом заседания стало обсуждение деловой части события, которая состоится 17-18 августа.
В первый день для представителей пивзаводов, хмелеводов, специалистов отрасли проведут экскурсии по чувашским предприятиям, которые занимаются выращиванием и переработкой хмеля. На следующий день участники прибудут на дискуссионную площадку фестиваля и обменяются мнениями о тенденциях, перспективах, регулировании рынка, а также о способах повышения качества урожая и итогового продукта его переработки.
“The business program of the festival “Green Gold of Russia” will be strengthened by federal experts from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and specialists from the Republic of Belarus . Also during the event, we plan to sign an agreement with the new hop-growing company Khmel Otchizny, which enters the agricultural lands of the republic,” the minister said.
The Khmel Otchizny LLC company was registered in the Marposad district in early July. The plans are to grow about 30 hectares of "green gold", as well as to produce malt.
it should be reminded that there are unprecedented measures to support hop growers in the republic. Subsidies providedfor the laying of perennial plantations and care for them, for the production of hops, subject to its sale. In addition, up to 40% of the costs for the construction and reconstruction of hop trellises, as well as 50% of the costs for the purchase of specialized machinery and equipment for hop growing, are reimbursed.
Now 6 organizations are engaged in culture in the region: Chuvash Research Institute of Agriculture, Agrokhmel LLC, AgroResources LLC, RUSHMEL LLC, Vylsky SHPK, and the collective farm OPH Leninskaya Iskra. In 2023, the hanging area in Chuvashia amounted to 133 hectares.
