Results of work in the field of state veterinary supervision at the State Border of the Russian Federation and transport on the territory of the Republic of Mordovia for 12 months of 2023

Specialists of the department of state veterinary supervision at the State Border of the Russian Federation and transport in the Republic of Mordovia of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR Office for the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza Region carried out 28 control (supervision) activities over the 12 months of 2023, including: 17 observations of compliance with mandatory requirements (safety monitoring) , 1 on-site inspection, 2 unscheduled on-site inspections, agreed with the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Moldova; 8 on-site assessments of the compliance of licensees and license applicants with licensing requirements, of which 1 on-site assessment was carried out by employees of the territorial administration as part of the provision of the state service for licensing pharmaceutical activities at the request of the central office of Rosselkhoznadzor.
324 preventive measures were carried out, including: 18 preventive visits, of which 15 visits were carried out in relation to subjects of circulation of medicines for veterinary use, 246 information and 42 consultations of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs on issues related to the organization and implementation of federal state control ( supervision) in the field of circulation of medicines for veterinary use and federal state veterinary control (supervision), 18 warning announcements about the inadmissibility of violation of mandatory requirements by business entities.
During this period, department specialists conducted 30 surveys of supervised economic entities of the republic for compliance with veterinary and sanitary requirements of third countries in order to obtain the right to EXPORT products to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and other foreign countries, as well as obtain permission to import regulated goods from abroad .
Over the 12 months of 2023, the receipt and dispatch of 1,413 shipments was monitored - 91,570.5 tons of controlled cargo, 83,800 heads of day-old chicks, 29 heads of companion animals (dogs, cats).
As part of the work on monitoring the quality and safety of food products, export certification of regulated goods, specialists of the department selected 397 samples, including: within the framework of enhanced laboratory control - 140 samples, food monitoring "Agricultural Export" - 124 samples, export certification - 126 samples , research of feed on GMOs – 7 samples. Sample studies are carried out in the testing laboratories of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “ARRIAH” and the Federal State Budgetary Institution “VGNKI”. During the research, 13 positive samples of food products and 1 sample of feed were identified.
Over the 12 months of 2023, department specialists reviewed 11 applications for the provision of state services for licensing pharmaceutical activities in the retail trade of medicinal products for veterinary use, including 3 applications for a license and 8 applications for amendments to the register of licenses. Based on the results of consideration of applications, 3 licenses were granted to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs carrying out pharmaceutical activities in the territory of the Republic of Mordovia, and changes were made to the register for 8 licenses of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs carrying out pharmaceutical activities, respectively, in the territory of the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza region.
In 2023, for the purpose of blocking, information was sent to Roskomnadzor about 107 identified Internet resources containing proposals for the sale of medicinal products for veterinary use by organizations that do not have a license to carry out pharmaceutical activities, and the sale of veterinary medicinal products, the retail trade of which is limited or prohibited in accordance with with the Federal Law of April 12, 2010 No. 61-FZ “On the Circulation of Medicines”. As a result, over 12 months, Roskomnadzor has limited access to 78 Internet resources.
The results of the control (supervisory) activities of department employees are regularly covered in the media and on the official website of the Department. Over the 12 months of 2023, 73 press releases were posted on the official website of the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza Region, 48 articles were published in print media, and 20 radio messages were published.
