Imported poultry equipment will be repaired by ourselves

A feeder for chickens, an incubator for industrial poultry farming, an egg-laying machine, poultry cages are other equipment for poultry farms, spare parts are ready to be produced, in the order of import substitution, by South Ural enterprises that are part of the Uralagromash industrial cluster. The heads of these companies spoke about this at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Chelyabinsk region at a meeting with technical specialists from poultry farms in the region.
As First Deputy Minister of Agriculture Alexander Zavalishchin, who chaired the meeting, noted, in the Chelyabinsk region there is an opportunity to make many parts for imported equipment that is used in the industrial poultry farming of the region. Moreover, South Ural industrial enterprises manufacture systems and production lines for poultry farms, which are currently used in the production of poultry MEAT and chicken eggs not only in the South Urals, but also in other regions of the federation and in the near abroad.
For example, the Pharmplast plant in Miass produces a wide range of products made of plastics and composite materials for poultry farming, in particular, catheters for artificial insemination systems for poultry, which successfully compete with the well-known French counterpart, and in some respects even surpass it. Miass Plant of Medical Equipment has been making industrial incubators for poultry farms since 2016, this development was awarded a gold medal at the Golden Autumn exhibition in Moscow. KTB Mashinostroeniya, also a Miass enterprise, has been producing various lines for slaughtering and processing poultry for many years, operating at many poultry farms in RUSSIA. "Agropromavtomatika" in Snezhinsk undertakes to manufacture any spare parts for imported and domestic poultry equipment,
The meeting discussed the interaction of these production enterprises with poultry farms. Denis Sogrin, technical DIRECTOR of Ravis Poultry Farm Sosnovskaya LLC, expressed the general opinion of the audience that it is necessary to jointly draw up a list of necessary consumable parts for poultry farm equipment, while the name of the equipment should be decisive, that is, which systems and production lines need parts. If we take into account that, as a rule, the same type of technical complexes are used at poultry enterprises, then it will not be difficult to compile such a list. And for manufacturers of components, according to Viktor Kayutkin, director of Pharmplast LLC, the volume of the order is important - large batches of spare parts will ensure low cost and, accordingly, the price of each copy.
Summing up the meeting, First Deputy Minister Alexander Zavalishchin instructed the relevant department of the ministry to coordinate the interaction of poultry farms and industrial enterprises. He noted that the development of the poultry industry and the production of poultry meat and eggs directly depends on the technical equipment of poultry farms. Currently, poultry farming mainly uses poultry cages; most of the sites are equipped with imported (German, French, Spanish) equipment from Hartmann, Big Dutchman, and Tsukami. Therefore, in the face of sanctions pressure on the Russian economy, it is important to develop our own agricultural engineering, including those specializing in the replacement of imported components for poultry and livestock equipment.
According to the results of the production activities of poultry farms in the Chelyabinsk region in 2022, the volume of poultry meat production for four months amounted to almost 90 thousand tons, an increase of 3.5% compared to the same period last year. By May 1 this year, the production of hatching and marketable eggs increased by 8% - up to 39.1 million pieces. In the current year, the industry as a whole also plans to increase the volume of poultry products.
