For the first time in 40 years, authorities in the formerly African swine fever-free Dominican Republic (2) have reported an outbreak in domestic pigs. On the territory of Ghana (6) an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza was noted, for which the country has been free since 2019. Bhutanese officials (1) have declared an outbreak of classical swine fever. The disease has not been reported in Bhutan since 2018. For the first time, since 2018, an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease type O was recorded in Mongolia (6). In Japan (1), piroplasmosis of horses. Previously, the disease was not observed in the country. In Laos (9), an outbreak of nodular skin disease was reported for the first time. In addition, foci of this disease are recorded by the veterinary services of Cambodia (2), Malaysia (30), Thailand (187).
African swine fever is registered in Bulgaria (1), Hungary (66), Germany (40), China (1), Latvia (32), Malaysia (1), Romania (169), Ukraine (1), South Africa (7), South Korea (34).
Highly pathogenic influenza has been registered in Belgium (1), Vietnam (12), Germany (1), Denmark (1), Nigeria (85), the Netherlands (2), Norway (7), Togo (2), Finland (6) , France (1), Sweden (14), South Africa (28).
In Spain (1) - bluetongue. New outbreaks of classical swine fever have been reported from Brazil (2) and Japan (19). In Kenya (1) - Rift Valley fever.
FMD types SAT2, O and untyped are registered in Africa, on the territory of Zimbabwe (2), Libya (3), Namibia (1), South Africa (10).
In Malaysia (13), Taiwan (1), USA (1) - rabies. A case of brucellosis caused by (b. suis) has been reported in France (1). Rabbit haemorrhagic disease in Luxembourg (1) and Cuba (17). The Tunisian Veterinary Services (4) register equine influenza. The focus of contagious equine metritis is in the UK (1).
Coronavirus infection COVID-19 was noted by the veterinary services of Spain (3), Switzerland (1), South Africa (1). The infection has been found in companion animals, fur farms, and zoo animals.
An outbreak of New World myiasis in cattle was reported from Panama (2). Anthrax in Armenia (7) and Kazakhstan (1). Infection of cattle and zoo deer with tuberculosis has been reported in Belgium (1) and Israel (9).
