For the period from March 6 to March 11, 2022, the World Organization for Animal HEALTH (OIE) received reports of the registration of 282 foci of especially dangerous animal diseases from 25 countries of the world. The corresponding notifications were published on the official website of the OIE.
New foci of Japanese encephalitis in pig populations have been reported from Australia (16). Rabies continues to be reported among stray animals in Melilla (1). On the territory of Morocco (1) cases of plague of small ruminants are recorded.
New foci of African swine fever were registered in Hungary (22), Germany (63), Latvia (4), Thailand (7) and SOUTH KOREA (7).
Highly pathogenic avian influenza continues to be reported in farm, zoo and wild birds in Belgium (1), UK (18), Greece (2), Israel (1), Ireland (2), Spain (11), Nepal (2), Netherlands (6), Poland (7), Portugal (3), Romania (1), Slovakia (3), usa (9), France (63), Czech Republic (1), South Africa (4), South Korea (17 ) and Japan (4).
In Israel (6), cases of Newcastle disease have been reported in poultry.
