For the period from December 25 to 30, 2021, the World Organization for Animal HEALTH (OIE) received reports of the registration of 308 foci of especially dangerous animal diseases in various countries of the world. The corresponding notifications were published on the official website of the OIE.

The authorities in Niger have reported the occurrence of Rift Valley fever (1 outbreak). FMD has been identified in Palestine (1) and Jordan (3). Lumpy skin disease has been reported in Cambodia (4) and Thailand (1).

Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) has been reported in 10 European countries (Hungary (13 outbreaks), Germany (81), Great Britain (7), Italy (46), the Netherlands (15), Poland (6), Portugal (1), Slovenia ( 1), France (16), Sweden (1)), in two Asian states (in Israel (3) and Taiwan (10)), as well as in Africa (in Benin (1)).

African swine fever outbreaks have been reported in the Dominican Republic (25), Latvia (16) and Romania (43). A new focus of classical swine fever among farm animals was recorded in Japan (1). Aujeszky's disease has been re-discovered in France (2).

Rabbit hemorrhagic disease has been identified in the usa (3 foci). CORONAVIRUS infection covid-19 has been reported in Finland (1), Switzerland (5) and the United States (1).
