
For the period from June 25 to July 1, 2022, the World Organization for Animal HEALTH (WOAH) received reports of the registration of 130 foci of especially dangerous animal diseases from 24 countries of the world. The corresponding notifications were published on the official website of WOAH.
Spain (1) has an outbreak of Newcastle disease. The infection has not been detected in the country since 2010.
The registration of new foci of African swine fever was reported by Hungary (7), Italy (7), Latvia (5), Macedonia (1), Nepal (2), Romania (5), Thailand (3), South Africa (3).
Highly pathogenic avian influenza outbreaks have been notified by Belgium (6), Great Britain (17), Germany (9), Denmark (9), Iceland (3), Kazakhstan (1), CANADA (11), Lithuania (1), Nepal (1), Portugal (1), usa (16), Faroe Islands (2), Finland (1). The disease was registered among wild and farm birds. In all cases, the infection was caused by the H5N1 virus subtype.
Infectious nodular dermatitis has been reported in Vietnam (11), Cambodia (3), and Thailand (1). FMD type O continues to be reported in Israel (2). In Spain (1) - anthrax.
