African swine fever outbreaks have been identified in Hungary (10), Germany (12), Latvia (11), Romania (68) and Ukraine (1).
Highly pathogenic avian influenza has been reported in Norway (1), Finland (2), Sweden (2) and South Africa (5). The disease caused by the virus subtypes H5N8 and H5N1 has been observed in farm birds and wild birds.
On the territory of Spain (1), a focus of bluetongue caused by a serotype 4 virus was registered. Kenya (1) notified Rift Valley fever. In Thailand (2), an outbreak of infectious nodular dermatitis continues. In Libya (3) and South Africa (4) - foot and mouth disease. On the territory of France (1) - the focus of brucellosis (B. suis). The fight against rabbit hemorrhagic disease continues in Cuba (4).
The South African Veterinary Services (1) registered a CORONAVIRUS infection covid-19 at the Johannesburg Zoo, in lions. In Israel (9), cases of tuberculosis have been reported in zoo axis deer.
