For the period from 11 to 17 June 2022, the World Organization for Animal HEALTH (WOAH) received reports of the registration of 267 foci of especially dangerous animal diseases from 30 countries of the world. The corresponding notifications were published on the official website of WOAH.
African swine fever outbreaks have been reported by Hungary (21), Italy (15), Latvia (12), Romania (4), Thailand (2), Ukraine (1) and South Africa (3).
Newcastle disease continues to be reported in Colombia (1).
Belgium (5), Bulgaria (1), UK (5), Vietnam (17), Hungary (2), Germany (4) Denmark (12), Iceland (15), Spain (11), CANADA (8), Netherlands (3), Norway (2), usa (14), Taiwan (1), Philippines (37), France (53), Croatia (1), Sweden (1) and South Africa (1) have notified new outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza. The disease was registered among wild and farm birds. In most cases, the H5N1 avian influenza subtype was identified. In Bulgaria - H5 and in Taiwan - H5N2.
FMD has been reported in Israel (3), CHINA (1) and South Africa (7). In Asia, outbreaks are caused by serotype O, and in Africa by SAT-2 and SAT-3.
Lumpy skin disease reported in Cambodia (2) and Malaysia (1)
In Austria (1) new outbreak of infectious rhinotracheitis/pustular vulvovaginitis in cattle. The animals were imported from Scotland, transported across Ireland by ferry and had a stopover in France. Currently, the most likely infection of animals during transportation.
