For the period from 1 to 30 November 2021, the World Organization for Animal HEALTH (OIE) received reports of the registration of new foci of especially dangerous diseases in various countries of the world. The corresponding notifications were published on the official website of the OIE.

In Sweden (1), Newcastle disease has been reported in poultry stock. The infection has not been reported in the country since 2018.

An outbreak of foot and mouth disease caused by type O virus has been reported in Jordan (1). The infection has spread among calves and sheep that have been in contact in the market area. Previously, the disease in the country was registered only in 2017.

Foci of infectious rhinotracheitis/pustular vulvovaginitis were notified by the veterinary services of Austria (1), which has been free from the disease since 2015, and Kazakhstan (1), where the infection has not been officially registered before.

For the first time, the disease of CORONAVIRUS infection covid-19 was noted in Singapore (1). Lions at the local zoo have been infected. Also, coronavirus infection continues to be recorded in the US (4) in zoo animals, and in the UK (1) and Croatia (4) in companion animals.

On the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina (1), a focus of highly pathogenic avian influenza type H5N1 was noted. The virus was found in a fallen swan in the Serbian Republic ethnic group. The disease has not been seen in the country since 2017.

Highly pathogenic avian influenza continues to be recorded in Austria (1), Belgium (7), Great Britain (69), Hungary (22), Germany (47), Denmark (20), Israel (3), India (1), Ireland (3 ), Italy (79), Kazakhstan (3), Netherlands (48), Norway (4), Poland (21), Slovakia (2), Romania (1), Serbia (3), Togo (1), Finland (4 ), France (5), Croatia (1), Czech Republic (7), Switzerland (1), Sweden (7), Estonia (1), South Africa (22), SOUTH KOREA (13) and Japan (5). The disease, more often caused by the H5N1 subtype virus, less often H5N8, H5N5, H5N2 and H5, was noted among birds for agricultural purposes and wild, more often waterfowl, migratory birds.

African swine fever was again recorded in Bulgaria (1), Hungary (18), Haiti (4), Germany (40), Dominican Republic (87), India (7), CHINA (1), Latvia (27), Malaysia ( 6), Poland (113), Romania (198), Ukraine (2), Philippines (53) and South Africa (4). In Japan (18) - classical swine fever.

New foci of infectious nodular dermatitis have been reported in Cambodia (16) and Thailand (7). In Morocco, plague of small ruminants (3).

New foci of FMD type O have been found in Namibia (1) and China (1). In Melilla (1) - rabies.

Aujeszky's disease has been notified by Finland (1). At the same time, this episode does not affect the status of Finland as a country free from AD, since antibodies to the virus were found in wild boar.

In France, foci of West Nile fever (1), anthrax (2) and brucellosis (B. melitensis) (1) have been reported in cattle on a dairy farm. Cases of anthrax were also noted in Spain (3), in the territory of the autonomy of Extremadura and in Azerbaijan (1).
