The elevators of the Novosibirsk region are fully prepared to receive grain from the 2021 harvest

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk Region discussed the readiness of enterprises in the elevator industry to receive grain from the 2021 harvest. The meeting was held by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk Region Evgeny Leshchenko.

The discussion at the site of the Ministry of Agriculture was attended by the HEAD of the Office of the ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Novosibirsk region Alexander Baev, the chairman of the regional public organization of the Novosibirsk region "Association of Grain Storage and Processing Enterprises" Novosibirsk Elevators "Alexander Teplyakov, representatives of the industry, and via video link - heads of agricultural management bodies in rural areas region.

At the moment, the material and technical base for grain storage in the Novosibirsk region is represented by 30 elevators and grain-receiving enterprises that not only accept grain for storage, but also carry out its post-harvest processing: cleaning, drying, disinfection, creating conditions for long-term storage of grain that meet the needs FLOUR and cereal industries.

The actual grain capacity for one-time storage of grain in elevators increased by 2% compared to 2020 and now stands at 1 million 712 thousand tons. In addition, the agricultural organizations of the Novosibirsk region have 2816 grain warehouses for 3 million 178 thousand tons. Thus, the total capacity of one-time storage of grain in the region: 4 million 890 thousand tons.

According to the monitoring conducted by the Ministry of Agriculture, the cost of services for the acceptance, drying and storage of grain at most elevator enterprises in the region in 2021 remained at the level of last year.

In 2021, a number of elevators and grain-receiving enterprises were modernized with an increase in storage volumes, gasification, overhaul and maintenance of grain dryers, grain storage warehouses, buildings, equipment, technical re-equipment of shipping by road and rail.

The readiness of elevators and grain-receiving enterprises to accept new crop grain is 100%.

Based on the results of the meeting, the heads of the agricultural management bodies of the administrations of the municipal districts of the Novosibirsk Region, as well as the heads of enterprises in the elevator industry, were given recommendations on preparing the material and technical base for grain acceptance, compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of grain quality and safety.

The Ministry of Agriculture of the region will also continue to keep the situation with the storage and movement of grain under constant control. One of the instructions to the department, which was given during the meeting by Yevgeny Leshchenko: to organize in the near future an interdepartmental meeting on the issue of strengthening control measures to prevent the illegal EXPORT of grain from the 2021 harvest to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Also, the ministry, together with the Novosibirsk Elevators Association of Grain Storage and Processing Enterprises, will prepare proposals for new measures of regional state support aimed at reimbursing the costs of elevator industry enterprises for the purchase of equipment. The proposals will be considered at the public council under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Novosibirsk Region.
