Exporters of Chuvashia began sending agricultural products to 4 more countries

The agricultural results of the implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” for 9 months of 2023 were discussed at a meeting held by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov.
The largest supplies were made to CHINA , Belarus, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan . They account for 60% of all exports.
There was also a noticeable increase in exports compared to the same period last year for the following types of products: beer - 11 times, onion sets - 10 times, live poultry - 4 times, sunflower oil - 2.2 times, flax seeds - increase by 75%, wheat FLOUR – 35%.
In addition, exporters of agricultural products entered new countries in 2023. For example, seeds and fruits of oilseeds are now supplied to Slovakia, extracts, essences, tea are supplied to India and the UAE, and onions are supplied to Romania.
“In 2023, Chuvash products went to 44 countries of the world. This suggests that agrarians, farmers, and processors in the region are creating in-demand goods. This is helped by the exchange of experience at industry forums, strategic planning, and the quality of products that gain recognition in the world market,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Chuvashia Sergei Artamonov.
